For anyone experiencing lobby errors 5006/2002
On Windows, run “cmd” and type in “ipconfig/flushdns”.
Sometimes the lobby error is caused due to DNS issues. Just tried it with the 5006 error code and it worked.

it seems to work for 5006 but not 2002 just a heads up.
I can’t log into Aether data center for my chars on Balmung. I keep getting 2002 errors. I’m assuming it’s a backlog error as opposed to DNS because I can log into Chaos (EU) and Moogle server. I also tried the fix listed. So yeah, it doesn’t fix 2002.
